This week the last F-22A was delivered to the 1st FW. (<a href="news_article2138.html">Langley receives last Raptor, completes fleet</a>) They were equally split between both 27th and 94th FS.
4041 through 4061 were delivered to the 27th FS.
4062 was the first for the 94th FS.
I am looking for two more 27th FS Raptors somewhere between 4064 and 4080.
Help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Jurgen |

| Hi Jurgen, would it perhaps be possible for you to post the complete overview as you have it? |

| And just to head off any confusion, they received the last Raptor assigned to THEM. Not the last Raptor to ever be built. The af.mil headline is kinda misleading. One would think they got the last Raptor off the line if one didn't read the article. |

Hmmm..there's probably already some internal shuffling going on there. For one thing, 2 jets have already been transferred down to the 43rd at Tyndall, specifically, tails 42 and 43, and those are the first 2 of 6 total aircraft to be transferred down to Tyndall. Eventually, tails 41-46 will all be TY tails, giving the 43rd 29 Raptors.
The end state for all F-22 squadrons will be 18 primary aircraft assigned, although they will probably have a few spares at Langley as well. I'd anticipate 20 aircaft per squadron, for now.
As for your missing assigned tail numbers...sorry, no idea who they were originally delivered to, but I wouldn't be surprised to see lots of iron swapping between the squadrons as this all settles out in the next 6-9 months. |

Hi BlueFour,
Thanks for your reply.
It makes things a lot clearer as to why the press releases were talking about last of forty aircraft and I had 46 numbers.
Whenever you are in the position and things are settled down a bit I would love to know the exact disposition per squadron.
Thanks again,
Jurgen |

F-15C's have been leaving Langley. There may have been a few sent to the 71st for some reason. Also, it will be 20 F-22's per squadron with (1) extra at langley for MX training (non-flying). The rest will end up going to AK...Check |
