Thanks, Raptor One. I downloaded the document and quickly looked through it. Very nice work. After I study it a bit more I would like to send you a PM for some detail comments. I played with MS Flight Sim years ago and it appeared to work pretty well with the airplanes it had in it. I had no idea the Falcon4 went into such detail to try to match real airplane performance. Very impressive. I would like to try Falcon 4. Is it still available?

The history of Falcon 4 is very long. The latest commercial version of Falcon 4.0 is Falcon 4.0: Allied Force and should still be available in stores. I'm sure you can order it either from the publisher itself or from some online retailer. You may be able to find a copy at a local retailer, but supplies probably aren't that high anymore. It was released well over a year ago. Allied Force now includes most of the data from the high fidelity F-16 flight models I helped develop. Just install the latest patch update once you get a copy of the game. There's an online update feature built into the program. There's a lot of information on Falcon 4 (the original and Allied Force) at www.frugalsworld.com and www.simhq.com.

The developers of the original Falcon 4 and the current developers who put out Allied Force didn't actually have the time and/or resources to develop such accurate and detailed flight models, but I did (sort of). The work outlined in that manual took years of off-and-on research and development. It was done before Falcon 4 Allied Force was released back when people were still hacking away at the original Falcon 4 which has been through many incarnations itself. I wouldn't expect full time developers to put this much effort into flight models. Feel free to PM me with any questions.
