| Man I remember when I got here in September, in the mid month the word came down that one of the aircraft was probably sabotaged. We spent days on 12's borescoping our fleet. Yeah, there were a lot of pissed off people. We all know everbody does stupid stuff at times and this is just a little over the edge. Giving the size of the frog and working on GE's for the last 7 1/2 years, I know that is would not cause any damage and they knew that but being a true engine mechanic, you know you just don't throw things in the intake. I'm not going to say it was immaturity of being new SSgt.s becuase they were seasoned staffs. Just not in the right frame of mind and making bad decisions that cost them their jobs. They have cameras that run 24/7 in the hush house now to prevent stupidity. |
