| Dear Bushmaster78FS, If your trying to imply that the Turkish Air Force is a consumer rather than a producer of Air Force technology then you are grossly mistaken. The Turkish Aerospace Industry is 75% self-sufficient. It produces under licence the F-16. It exports technology to countries such as the UK, France and the USA. It is a partner country in several International projects such as the Airbus Military A400M. It has developed its own Anti-tank missiles comparable only to the Hellfire II. It has developed Targeting and Navigation Pods similar to the lightenin III, the ASELPOD. It produces Self-protection suits, Mission Computers, UAV's similar in mission to the US predator (see TIHA UAV), Friend and Foes identification systems etc. TAI has developed both indegenous Turbo-prop and Turbo fan engines. They are now working on a Turbo-shaft engine. This is just off the top of my head. There are so many R&D projects that I dont have time to list them here. |

| Dear TAI, I do not recall why I said what I said a few months ago. No offense meant, and it doesn't make sense to me now. A high school friend of mine had his brother working for TAI in the fuel section of F-16 assy line. Visited the facilities many times. Thanks for the information. |
