If you get the chance, get the clip of Robin doing his impression of Elmer Fudd, singing Bruce Springsteen's "Fire". I LMAO everytime I hear that song, and think of it. |

Saw him at Cincinnati's Music Hall back in '84 (Bobby McFerrin opened for him) and he was like what you saw on Ellen, non-stop, for about 2.5 hours. So after his show our group heads off to our favorite comedy club to finish the evening and they announce a special guest comic was on the bill. Out pops Williams and he does another 1.5 hours! Just like a kid on Coca-Cola and a large Hershey bar! You couldn't stop the guy! |

Back in 1984, Robin was on something that was an original ingredient in Coca-Cola! Hey, whatever helps keep the party going, right?
Funny enough, I turn on the rock station today, and what song came on, but Bruce Springteen's "Fire". D@mn, everytime I hear that song, I think of Elmer Fudd now! Robin is hilarious.
I also love the scene in "Mrs. Doubtfire" when he's in the Doubtfire costume, and waves down to Pierce Brosnan on the street, as soon as Pierce walks away, Robin turns the wave into the one-finger salute.
Great stuff. He's really good to the troops too. Good on him! |

Some of the best bits of comedy in history, IMO |

He was supposed to have his Aortic Valve R&R'd. Haven't heard if it's been done yet tho. Barbara Bush had the same operation recently. |

The Scottsman
That one is the part about how they invented golf.
When I was a Junior in high school me and a friend of mine would say this verbatim back and forth during gym classes. He could do a d@mn close impression of Scottish Robin.
Last I heard from CNN he was doing good in the body-n-fender shop--he was making the staff laugh.
Laughter is the best medicine, so the guy should have been released sometime after he woke up. |

I also think that medicine...is the best medicine...
Hey is it true that he sang "Blame Canada" (by Trey Parker and Matt Stone) at some awards show? |
