Hi,
We got word that the Danish pilot <a href="f-16_pilots_num165.html">Max Wilhelmsen</a> reached <a href="f-16_pilots_flying-hours-4K.html">4,000 flight hours</a> on the Viper today.

F-16 Fighting Falcon - 4000 Flight Hours patch
Can anyone confirm this and post a link to a (Danish) newspaper article?
Kind regards,
Lieven |

Hello Lieven,
Although I do not have a link the word is true. I have a good friend of mine who is in the Danish AF and he told me today, as well. Max reached this significant number of hours during a mission with (or against) the F-15s from the 493rd FS currently at Skrydstrup.
Greetings,
Henrik. |

Lockheed has already provided the pilot with a 4,000 hour plaque.
Best Regards, |
