I worked phase at Kunsan for the year I was there, and we were doing our JFS leak and prime's on like day 2-3 of the phase, and by day 6 or 7 depending on how long the phase was we would do the final run, and usually end up in a no start, after about 3-4 of these late friday night Engine Start System Trouble shooting which sucks balls by the way, everytime you get your hopes up for a quick run, and early night to start drinking but instead get stuck messing around with a dessc and capre tester, anyways I don't quite remember which test the capre had us run but it required -60 AC power, and everytime, after accomplishing that test the jet would start like a champ and being sick of towing the jet to the HAS then having a no-start towing it back to the phase hanger for trouble shooting, doing like 5-6 leak and primes with no problems, tow it back out to the HAS for the engine run, and having the jet start up fine I started just hooking up a 60 for a few minutes. So knowing most if not all of the JFS circuitry runs on DC power I started thinking, to hook up a 60 letting the battery charge then attempting the start. I did this the rest of the time I was in phase, and it resulted in many early friday nights in the phase dock. So although not proven in any trouble shooting tree, I believe a weak battery could result in a JFS no start.
