The component game is great!. Let's add to it by identifying weapons, many people have never seen a BDU 33 before, what is it, what does it look like?

"Practice ordnance includes 25-pound BDU-33 bombs having a spotting charge that releases a cloud of smoke on impact. The BDU-33 is used to simulate the MK 82 in low drag configuration. The BDU-33 is a small cast-iron and steel non-explosive ordnance that is used in training to simulate actual bombs. These training munitions, by design, have similar flight and delivery behavior to war shot munitions. "

Looks like we have the same sources.... I saw the same picture as above.

That's the Chicken Pecking Guided Glide Bomb (CPGGB). It was proposed by B.F. Skinner at the beginning of WWII.

The chicken pecks around the edges of the screen to keep the target centered up. He is rewarded (in training) with corn pellets.

The guidance was tested in a HWIL (Hardware in the Loop) facility, and the concept was proven, but the predecessor of PETA convinced FDR to shelve development of the system. After that FDR put all his money into the Manhattan Project.
