yep I've play the inlet strut game too and they aren't easy. It seemed like the top bolt in the avionics bay went on and on forever. 8 hours is good time at least compared to when I did one in about 10-11ish hours. Canning it didn't make it any better on top of the fact that the lil dayshifter that kept finding them bad on the ramp didn't even do any of them.

You guys forgot one PITA ... A Heat Exchanger change with a non-factory Hyd Line installed.

ADG's are a walk in the park.. You only need a good rolling chair (office chair).

Nothing like getting a splitting headache from the fumes as you change a heat exchanger to then get the sequence wrong or Have 80% installed to see that one of the lines was a local(crap) made line that required you to remove damn near everything and loose fit in place and work under it.

Also for me anything to do in the cockpit is trouble because of my size.

Where are the older spang guys complaining about HYD pumps and not getting them to drop in???? Yes.. you all can kiss my ***! hahaha(you DB's know who you are..Chewy,Z,Vinny Vegas, creig) Wink

Wait till the day one comes up. They ask for volunteers (at least they used to) because it so rarely comes up. The 22 on the other hand. I've changed more of those in less than a year then I have of 4 years on the 16 but its a lot easier. My buddy was just telling me about weaps doing their wiring gig on the matrix behind the L.E.F. anyone care to commit about that if that really is a pain?

I think one of the hardest parts is dealing with some pilots. We had a write up the other day, I kid you not: "Engine did not felt like a GE at mil power. AB operated normal" I swear that is what the pilots wrote in the forms. They made us do a 200hr bores scope for that crap. can you believe that.

Gaston,
I have seen a few that are just as bad.
A Female Flight Surgeon who thought she was qualified to tell me how the leading edge flaps were causing fuel to spray when the tanker disconnected...

If it needs to be done pull them yourself..... then you won't have to wait.
