Hi everyone, new member here, thanks for letting me in.
Been driven to this place by it's reputation of being one of THE resources for info and discussion on american military aviation matters ( especially).
Please allow me to float a question by you if it's ok , and hopefully with your help i will be more lucky than i have been before in finding the answer to it.
Does anyone have some good , reliable figures for the detection/tracking ranges for bomber and fighter size targets for the AWG-10/APQ-100/109/120 radars? ( especially APQ-120). I found surprisingly hard to come by this info.
Now i understand a radar's detection range varies due to a multitude of factors ( athmospheric conditions , maintenance/tuning of the system , speed, all-critical altitude and so on ), and what i'm looking for is roughly just the "standard", brochure, or manual figures for them.
I'm really hoping this will not fall under OPSEC as the Phantom has long been sent to the scrapyard from US service, and those that are still in service around the world are usually thoroughly upgraded.
Thank you for your time.

| Despite the Rhino being retired from frontline service, specs on aircraft radars are still classified. |
