Hi all, I'm new to this fantastic website. I'm a modeller and friend of mine, who is so lucky to take a flight in an Italian F-16B, asked me to buit a F-16A for him. I remember that Hasegawa made a 1/32 F-16 improving the original kit used by F. verlinden in his F-16 book some years ago.
My question are:
* 1/32 F-16 from Hasegawa is good anough to spent money and time to built?
* what is wrong on it?
* after market kit?
* it could be used to make an Italian F-16 (block 10?)
* any decals about Italian F-16?

... or you say I'd better to use Hasegawa 1/48 F-16 A/B?
Many thanks in advace
Best regards and compliments

Well if your goal is ease of build, then go with the 1/48 Hasegawa kit, it will save you much headache. Biggest deal with the 1/32 Hase kit is that it's got raised panel lines. So unless you don't mind that, you're gonna have LOTS of fun rescribing it all. It also has sparse cockpit detail, so you'd wanna get the aftermarket BB cockpit. Also it doesn't have the big mouth MCID intake, only the small mouth NSI. But that's negligible, if you plan to do an Italian bird, with it's Pratt engine and NSI intake. My advice, go for the 1/48, for which the Hase kit is bar none the best out there. Ther are no Italian decals out there now, but they're easy to make, or you could sheetbash it from another sheet with Italian roundels.
