In the order of preference:
#1 Eglin AFB, FL (on the TEST side)
#2 Pease AFB, NH (that's where I worked the FB's)
#3 Hill AFB (the 388th was horrible but the area was Fantastic!!)
Then there was this place we went TDY from the Kun...Clark AFB in the PI... Even though the base is now closed I think the "statute of limitations" is still in effect so I can't tell you what happened or didn't happen to our "straight as an arrow" flight chief when we took him out for just "one drink".... Has anyone ever heard about "knights of the round table"???

These are my favorites.
#1 Pease AFB, NH (home)
#2 RAF Upper Heyford, England going down to London
#3 Kadena AFB, Japan (Sucked working the F-15s) But the island was great also side trips to the PI
#4 Edwards AFB, CA F-16 Test |

I guess my vote goes to my three favorite locations in Germany (Hahn) and the U.K. (Lakenheath and Bentwaters) collectively - I had more overall fun there (TDY's Deployments, Tourist thing) then anywhere else globally.
Those locations provided the chance to travel all over Europe (opening other chances for a damn good time). |

| Bergen Norway gets my vote for best oversees TDY. Summer is better that winter but both were a great time. (even if we stayed in WWII prison camp) |
