Just a short overview of the easiest way to link to the Photo Gallery and the aircraft/serials database:
Photo Gallery
The easiest way to link to a photograph in the F-16.net Gallery ( http://www.f-16.net/gallery.html ) is to use a the following simple code:
Code:
[ photo ]19957[ /photo ]
(remove the spaces between the brackets)
This will produce the following result:
BAF F-16A block 10 #FA-49 has the markings of the 10th TFW on its tail in the early eighties right after delivery.
The number between the two "photo" tags is the unique ID number of the photograph. For your convenience, the link code for each photograph is inluded on each photo page - you just need to copy-paste it into your post. See Attachment #1 below for the location of the photo link code on each photo page.
Serials/Aircraft Database
The easiest way to link to an airframe page in the F-16.net Aircraft Database ( http://www.f-16.net/f-16_aircraft_database.html ) is to use a the following simple code:
Code:
Belgian AF example:
[ serial ]FA-49[ /serial ]
or [ serial ]80-3540[ /serial ]
USAF example:
[ serial ]78007[ serial ]
or [ serial ]78-0007[ /serial ]
(remove the spaces between the brackets)
This will produce the following result:
BAF: FA-49 and USAF: ++Multiple airframes found, please be more specific++
The number between the two "serial" tags is either the local serial number or the USAF FY number. Note that the local serial number is not always a unique number and could produce unexpected results.
For your convenience, the link code for each airframe is inluded on each airframe page - you just need to copy-paste it into your post. See Attachment #2 below for the location of the serial link code on each airframe page.
