Asif,
Regarding the news article about Ex Pitch Black 06 currently held at Darwin can you confirm that you physically checked the FMS numbers in your article or have they been taken from the database?
Regards and thanks

Mark,
The RTAF/RSAF numbers were taken from online sources. Some of the missing serials were then matched up with our database.
If there are corrections that need to be made then please forward or add to this thread and we can adjust the list accordingly. |

Thanks Asif for clarifying that. I know a lot of the FMS numbers have not been physically checked as yet.

During this exercise, two aircraft where spotted that we don't have in our database. These are the numbers 637 (F-16D) and 645 (F-16C).
Below I've compiled a little list of the data that we have in our serials database. So if anyone can tie-up these numbers with a FY allocation, that would be great.

Bjorn and all,
It is obvious that some 'guessing' is still taking place with regards to FMS/tail number tie ups as 94-0282 / DB-9 is definately NOT 629 as 94-0282 was reported at Nellis two days ago as part of Red Flag!
The following were confirmed at Dijon in Sep 04:
94-0268 DA-3 610
94-0269 DA-4 611
94-0272 DA-7 614
94-0280 DB-7 691
96-5026 DA-10 612
97-0123 DB-20 640
I can also confirm the following:
RD-1 to RD-4 as 661 to 664
RD-8 to RD-20 as 668 to 680
Can anyone help with the others or if you get the opportunity, please confirm the FMS numbers off the canopy and report them together with their tail number?
Regards
Mark |

Hi all,
I'm new to this board but like to reply to the report of the F-16's at Pitch Black. I assume the serials are taken from a report from me on the Scramble mb & MSF forum. Hereby i can say (checked my pictures again) that 637 was a misread and is in fact 627.
The following FMS numbers can be confirmed by me:
10209/KRT F-16A ADF 102sqn (81-0765)
40303/90034 F-16B 403sqn (90-7034)
When i have time i'll check my pictures to see if i can confirm more.
Cheers Jelle |

Hi Jelle,
Welcome to the forum
Thanks for responding and a extra thanks to you for a providing us with a list of serials. I had seen a limited set of some of the numbers from pictures and video footage from PB06, but needed some confirmation.
If you have updates or corrections then feel free to drop us a line or just add to this thread. We can update as we go along. |

Hi all,
the following is a list of the FMS serials I collected from the public outings of the RSAF Vipers. As you can see, the Block 52s do not have a RSAF serial/FMS serial correlation, but based on evidence so far, the RSAF Block 52+ F-16Ds seems to have a running order. Hope this helps,
RSAF SN FMS Event
608 94-0266 RSAF Open House 1998
611 94-0269 Pitch Black 2000
612 96-5026 Paya Lebar Runway Cycling 2005
615 96-5025 RSAF Open House 2003
624 94-0276 Pitch Black 2002
625 94-0277 Pitch Black 2002
632 96-5033 Pitch Black 2004
638 94-0274 RSAF Open House 1998
639 97-0122 Pitch Black 2002
691 94-0280 Pitch Black 2002
692 96-5032 Pitch Black 2002
695 96-5030 RSAF Open House 2003
672 01-6021 Paya Lebar Runway Cycling 2005
677 01-6026 Paya Lebar Runway Cycling 2006
679 01-6028 Asian Aerospace 2006 |

Superskyhawk and all,
Excellent, confirmed serials at last! As I quoted in my earlier message the 6 at Dijon were physically checked and I have checked RD-1 to RD-4 as 661 to 664 and RD-8 to RD-20 as 668 to 680.
If anyone gets the chance to check any others please post them to this forum.
Regards
Mark |

All,
696 is confirmed as an F-16D ex 96-5031.
There's one more tied up!
Also, F-16C 620 has been spotted which is new (probably one of the former 428FS/CC jets!).
Regards

Jelle, you wouldn't have a FMS serial on 645 would you? Its a new arrival in Singapore, just arrived from one of the US-based detachments.
On a related note, does anyone know whether 94-0280 was from the 425 FS/56 FW or the 428 FS/27 FW before returning to Singapore as 691? Thanks |

620 C-52 140sqn sep06
637 D-52 143sqn jul06
642 D-52 143sqn dec05

Possible tie-ups are:
For the C-models:
94-0270 DA-5
94-0273 DA-8
97-0112 DA-13
97-0113 DA-14
97-0114 DA-15
97-0115 DA-16
97-0116 DA-17
97-0117 DA-18
97-0118 DA-19
97-0119 DA-20
97-0120 DA-21
97-0121 DA-22
For the D-models:
94-0281 DB-8
94-0283 DB-10
96-5034 DB-16
96-5035 DB-17

D models 94-0281, 96-5035 and 96-5036 were seen at Nellis in Aug 06 therefore I suspect 637 and 645 are 94-0283 and 96-5034 (order uncertain!).
Can anyone confirm these?
