Hi guys, I am building a 1/48 Greek F-16C Block 30 in anniversary markings, but the F-16 that had these markings was modified a bit, so now I must find these parts...
1. I need a big mouth intake (Might have the plastic one if you replaced it with the resin one)
2. I need Block 40 type wheel hubs.
3. Bulged main tires.
4. Bulged main landing gear doors
5. Reinforced main landing gear struts (Block 50 type)
If anyone has these extra parts please email me. I know I can pick most of this stuff up as resin parts, but wanted to see what you guys had first.
I have also been told that the Hasewaga F-16CJ has these extra parts, but I really can't afford to buy that kit as well.
Thanks, Anthony. |

Thanks, I know how much the kit is, but I just did not wan't to get it, use the parts, then not have the parts to finish that kit lol. But from the looks of it, I can't get the upgrades in 1/48 scale, so I might have to get that kit sooner of later.
I am in the process of moving, so I won't be able to start building the block 30, but once I do, I will do everything I can before I need those parts, then I'll get the kit, use the parts, then email Hasewaga and tell em they did not come with the kit so that way they will send em to me and I can finish both kits
Thanks for the help, Anthony. |

| Do the math... the aftermarket parts you seek will end up costing you more than the Hasegawa kit. |

That's kinda what I was getting at, too. Thanks habu2! As far as e-mailing Hasegawa and telling them that the parts "did not come with the kit" just to get the extra parts for free, it's up to you if you want to go about getting parts that way. Of course, they really have no way of checking to see if you're telling the truth, but I'd just bite the bullet and actually pay for the kit rather than trying to scam a few plastic parts.
Another option would be to buy the Hasegawa kit for the parts that you need right now, build your model, and then put the rest of that kit aside until you save enough money to buy some really nice aftermarket parts and build a snazzy customized jet later. |

You might of asked about the after market F-16 intakes be fore buying, as there's quite a difference. Which one did you get SS or CE? The Seamless Suckers NCID intake is completely wrong. A few years ago, the master was redone and it came out even worse than the previous set. If the later one is indeed one you just bought, it's grossly out of proportion and does not fit the kit. The mouth profile is completely wrong as it's nothing more than an enlarged version of the NSI mouth profile. The MCID big mouth profile is quite different than the NSI, as it has more tapered corners.
Seamless Suckers "might" have re-mastered their MCID intake off the Hasegawa kit, but I seriously doubt it. Send me some mouth, side, top & bottom profile pics and I can tell if it's the badly shaped intake production.
The Cutting Edge intake got the MCID intake right. It's no surprise since after all; they used the Hasegawa kit intake as a basis, which has a much more accurate profile.
Check your mail.
