Hey everyone, I haven't been posting very long, but my week has been really good and I just had to get it all out.

First of all, I was selected for SSgt.
Second, I got my first pick for assignment (Shaw)
AND last, My wife is Pregnant (yes it is mine).

So all three items are great news, and for those that are currently at Shaw, give me the low down, what is going on there(what has changed)

My youngest son just found out he too was selected to sew on Staff Sgt. His First time testing and made it, he is at Mountain Home, Idaho. Just had a baby a few months ago and hoping for an assignment.

You guys have similar events occurring...good on you both and best of luck in all future ventures.....way cool. Cheers

Oh No! you have now met all the requirements for a remote to the Kun, hope the assignment people don't find out. Just kidding, but it did happen to me except I had orders to Spang and they got cancelled and next thing I knew I was wolfpacked.

I don't mind the manning or the Ops Tempo, I'll be back home in good ole SC.
Plus I'll be out of Alaska, which means, normal days and nights year round. Accurate weather forcast. Oh, not to mention a city that is less than an hour away!!! So what if I get wolfpacked later on, I'm ready for it, and looking forward to it.

Looking forward to being wolfpacked?!?!?!? Do NOT say that, man!!!! They will short notice your a$$, just like they have so many others (myself included!!!!) They don't take kindly to that kind of boasting!!!!

Anywho, congrats on the great news. Shaw ain't so bad. I spent a little better than two year there as part of the first round of my "prison" tour... Have fun and good luck!
