Not ragging on you man, but it's subject titles such as this "USA giving isreal F-22" that is very WRONG! This is just pure speculation on that article's part. |

| We're not giving that thing away...perhaps at a hefty fee we'll sell it one day! |

US might sell it to it's allies probabley by 2020-2030. Since they'll be retiring that thing by 2040.
But isreal will be getting JSF's |

| F-22A's lifespan is going to be pretty long Ayubi. Especially since they will keep producing the thing for many years to come. |

You must be thinking of the F-35 as F-22 production is going to wrap up in just a few years. |

Not confirmed yet. The future of the F-22A is far from certain. The 183 being built now isnt a done deal. And with the ammount of effort behind keeping the F-22A alive in the USAF, it is highly unlikely to see it end at #183.
Remember, after the 183 are built, each following aircraft costs $117 million and gets cheaper with more aircraft.
The F-22A's production line will continue for a long time. Possibly resulting in a B and even C model. |

You get a democrat in the White House next election and I could easily see it getting cancelled and tooling destroyed. |

Ah well, I've always wanted to learn Chinese...

i was told by someone that F-22's are given to isreal. maybe to widen there attack on iran and syria.
Assuming that by the time the F22 or the F35 is ready for Israeli service there hasn't been a <cough> 'regime change' in both of those countries. |

Neither will happen irregardless.
The "your cutting our troops short" card tends to be played.
But then again, look at the priority of the F-22A program for the USAF. Everything else is expendable and will suffer just to get more Raptors. |

| But don't you think US is giving, or might give isreal F-22 so it can widen its attck to syria and iran, i can belive that it can happen cause it takes a load off USA's back to get isreal to do the dirty work and give them a few aircraft in return, just a thought. |

With Israel's lousy track record of passing sensitive information to the Chinese why the hell would we sell them F-22s or F-35s? |

Does it matter?
The USAF wont let it die.
It will cut pilots, aircraft, training, spare parts, flight hours, and even what they serve in the cafeteria, to buy more F-22As.
When the Pentagon wants something badly enough, Congress and the President typically dont fare well.
Also, the F-22A has already survived one democrat already. And it was still deeply in development. |

| What is wrong with the U.S. selling the Raptor to Israel? They ARE our allies and the are the best air force in the world. They would be helping us fight the war on terror and on countries who are sympathetic to terrorist organizations. |
