| shocktroop, please secure all of these and future clips before they sometime remove the stuff from their webservers. I will use some of these video links for my planned preview-and-discussion topic "IDF/AF Airstrikes in Lebanon 2006" (or so). Are you able to "cut out" still photography from these clips? That should be very helpful. |

Yes, it is possible with programs like Snagit. |

| Thanks for your reply, DeepSpace! Have you installed such a program on your PC? And if yes, would you make some "shots" for me and F-16.net? Third question: As I saw on the public main websites of IDF and IDF/AF, in contrast to western public military websites they must have some stronger copyright regulations (All rights reserved, and so). Are there really limitations for using of this stuff on other websites, especially on F-16.net? I will have no trouble in case of my planned topic. |

According to this page you are allowed to use the stuff from the website as long as you mention where you got it from.
And yes, I do have that program. What kind of shots would you like? |

| Thank you again, DeepSpace! I must have overlooked this helpful "Terms of Use" link. But in case of the video clips, please give me time. Currently, I´m confrontated with IDF releases and world-wide news media stuff related to nearly two weeks of IDF/AF aerial operations over Lebanon. I must sort all of this stuff to prepare a first acceptable preview, based both on IDF and independent info. Exclusively, you and shocktroop will be the first people who will get these preview via PM before posting on F-16.net. I would be very grateful for your comments, your corrections and your support. In the next hour, you both will receive a PM with first related questions from me. Nice to have you and shocktroop on the forum to discuss IDF/AF facts and figures related to real things, far away from fruitless political discussions! |

| Thank you, Deep Space! According to at least one German newspaper, the Hezbollah in Lebanon should be disarmed two years ago, related to U.N. resolution 1559. But Lebanon did not this job. And, so I think, that should be the main problem related to the current IDF/AF air operations in Lebanon. In fact, the Lebanese government has no control about Hezbollah forces at least in Southern Lebanon. Tomorrow, I will post some comments related to the Mid-East conference at Rome today. |

Yeah that is correct. According to that resolution, the Lebanese army should have been deployed to Southern Lebanon in order to control that area and make sure that Hizballah posses no threat after the IDF went out of Southern Lebanon in 2000, but that obviously didn't happen.
And I just noticed that my PM Inbox was 100% so I might not have got your PM (if you already sent it), so if you did send it already, don't mind sending it again. |
