I, personally, think that power is never enough. The only limiting factor is $$. Having several different planes is a pain, but most of them would be F-16s, so not THAT different. Moreover, with Typhoons and F-35s, it would be wise to retire the F-4s and older F-16s.
USAF has "old" planes, but has so many firepower that even flying "old" planes, they do the job pretty well... |

Well, first off, we don't speak Spanish, we speak Portuguese as our primary language. 
Second, we must protect the Amazon forest from possible invasors. No matter how good or bad we treat the forest, it is ours. So, I think we need all the firepower we can reasonably afford. I'd just love to see FAB operating some 100+ Flankers and, in the mid-term future, the PAK-FA, as participation in the project comes as a bonus for buying the Flankers. |
