Tell ya what.....some years back I had the great pleasure of going to Israel for a week or so to do the pilgrimage thing. I fell in love no less that 105 times in a 7-day period (yes....I kept count...). 
- Airfare to Tel Aviv: $800
- Hotel in Jerusalem for a week: $600
