| anybody seen the movie? Two F-35's are escorting this jumbo plane (i really don't know what it is) that carries a modified space shuttle. from the looks of them in the movie, i say they're pretty nice and seems formidable. |

Well, give them credit for getting the concept right, hollyweird could have made them solar powered.
Airframe looked like a 777. |

| Rarely can we credit Hollywood with correctly portraying the military avaition community (case in point; Iron Eagle 2, F-4's for MiG-29's???), but gotta give them credit for giving it a valiant effort on the rare occasion that they actually do. Heard some promising stuff about Raptors making an appearance in the new Transformers movie... |

| Well, the pilot went up to like 90,000ft and lost control of his aircraft in order to suffocate the Hulk who was holding onto his airplane. |

| Think I woulda sought out a different method! Did the Hulk have a grip on some of the contol surfaces? Thats about when I woulda firewalled the throttle and punched out, and said "goodbye, you big green pain in the rudder!" |

Nahh, the pilot hoped the Hulk would lose conciousness before he did.... and it worked. Pilot passed out, but he was at fl90 and stalled. But the Hulk let go.
I think the pilot couldve recovered and saved the aircraft. |

| Mighta been a problem getting a decent control response in that thin air, but you'd think stalling would cause it to fall like a brick. Dono, actually only saw the movie once and that part ticked me off. Maybe the -22's will get a little more positive limelight in Transformers. They actually made a BRIEF appearance in War of the Worlds. Along with some Hornets. That combo I'll never understand. Hollyweird... |

| of course all this is assuming the Hulk's additional weight wouldn't have thrown the CG all to #$@*... |
