Is there somewhere it can be seen on TV?
I can't find anything on Fox's or CNN's web sites and nothing online about it being televised.
30 minutes... |

| The news in this country isn't "news" anymore, it's info-tainment. I'm sure there will be a 15 second clip somewhere titled "America's Newest Weapon On Terror". Too bad the Military Channel didn't do something live. Ah well. |

That's a fact! In every news story I see about the F-35, they have to throw in "the most expensive weapon system ever" but most fail to say how many are going to be built and per unit cost and the fact that the cost will be amortized among our partners. |

| Hey I just saw it on the news here in Oklahoma said it's official, Lightning II. Personally I think the name sucks I would have preferred Python or Razorback. Can't wait to see it in action. Long live the Viper!!!!!!!!!!! |

Yep, it was on the news here in Vegas - the local station picked up the national story on it . I just can't wait to see it flying formation with a Raptor here at Nellis and I think we all know that'll happen in the next few years . |

| Darn... missed it. Lightning II eh? Too bad. That name is horrible... just my opinion. I would have liked to see a name similar to the Viper... I love the Air Force but what is with the names? |

| Watched it on a Russian news channel in Israel. (I think the channel was RTR or RTVI). They said it was the most expensive aircraft project costing $200+ billion USD. |

| Well if you makes all of you feel better, the engineers and designers of the plane weren't aloud to go to the ceremony and they didn't even have a webcast or live feed of it for us. We get to watch it on tape this monday over lunch. |
