You can fly only using a keyboard but it's much more fun with at least a joystick. |

I think that you NEED a joystick to fly. Sure, you can use keyboard but it will seriously limit what you can do with your plane. (that's true for most of flight simulations, but especially for Falcon4)
The nicest would be to have Cougar HOTAS and rudder pedals, no doubt, but a common joystick is enough, anything more is not necessary, it is just fun. For my part, I use a very common Sidewinder joystick and that's cool . |

Well, back when I flew F4 all the time I had a bit more than a joystick...
