Good on her, I salute her and her efforts, no easy tasking.

Fly safe girl, live long and prosper!

It would suck being shot down but if you knew it was a chick, damn, if you survived it, that would hurt for years to come...hehe
More than likely have "been there and done that at some point", it sure keeps you young if done correctly

Gawd we are sexist pigz!
More people have died driving with Ted Kennedy than hunting with Dick Cheney.

I've met some pretty arrogant Eagle drivers before, I can't imagine a four ship formation of female Eagle drivers, that's got to be worth the price of admission. No doubt some of those women are very attractive and I'd love to have dinner with one or two of them and talk some "shop" with them, but I still disagree with the premise of women in combat when we (contrary to Israel for example) have plenty of readily capable men able to wage combat just as well. Since when did warfighting become and equal opportunity employer?

I figure if we have women in these types of posistions, and fighter pilots will be the first POW's of any major engagement, women might have to go up against the likes of an enemy that would exploit their gender (Arabs, Chinese, other religions who don't quite hold the same regard for the female gender that we here in the West generally do, etc) and well, that's just not fair to those women and quite frankly it's a compromise to our war fighting capabilites. Israel does it because they have to, not because they are being "fair." Just because we haven't had an all out shooting match since Vietnam or even WWII doesn't mean it won't happen sometime in the future. Anyways...

Ya gotta point there. Kinda make one wonder what mods to the SERE training program have been done to teach the ladies what to do in that scenario.
Why does "monosyllabic" have 5 syllables?

They're told to expect to be raped. Most are intelligent enough to realize that being raped or at least assaulted is probable.
