I've logged 650+ hrs. on Falcon 4.0. I see now that I'm just begining to scratch the surface! You guys are good. Really good!!
I just registered to this site two days ago and I've leared more in two days than I have in two years. I have had this software for years but just recently got into it when I found out how realistic it is. NOW I'M HOOKED!!
Well, to keep this tread short my question is, sould I keep flying 4.0 and go all the way with it before going to Allied Force? Or, sould I drop 4.0 and go to Allied Force?
Waiting for a response. Thanks, GaryDucote "CANNON-41" |

| I never dabbled with F4.0 before buying the Allied Force version, but....get it!!! The only real difference that I've heard of is AF is more stable, and supported by a real company. Gamewise, there shouldn't be too much difference, from what I've heard. The AF version is also getting updates regularly- they're up to 1.07 now, I think, and each one updates aircraft, AI, multiplayer, etc. You certainly won't lose anything by upgrading!!! |

| Do you have the super pack or BMS for F4 or just the straight version? |

You should try FreeFalcon 3 with your vanilla Falcon 4.0 !!!!
Its free, the graphics are great and you can fly all kinds of different planes.
You can also buy the excellent cockpits of Eric (Aeyes Cockpits.nl), I do belive he was the one who made the pits to AF (you can get F-16C/F-15C/A10/FA18/Mig29/F15E which are all fully functional for RAMP START).
I have the Falcon 4.0 patched with FreeFalcon 3 and I also have the AF.
Which is better? Well FF3 has more eyecandy, but I will agree that AF seems to be more stable.
Also if you have the money - you should buy a Cougar - I did and have never looked back! |
