| I think not. With the tension between India and Pakistan I can't see a stealth strike aircraft making India very happy. |

| I agree. Musharraf had to pry those Vipers out of our hands as it was. I don't see F-35's in the region at all, too much of a destabilizing force. |

| There aint no way, too much technology and too much of a war fighting edge over India. They would be screaming bloody murder if we sold them to Pakistan. |

| With the US possibly supplying new aircraft to India, not a chance. What about F-35s to India AND Pakistan in about 20 years when the technology is less secretive??? |

| The relationship between Pakistan and Mainland China is almost as good as the relationship between USA and UK. If USA sells F-35 to Pakistan, then the possibility that Mainland China gets the secret of F-35 may be near 100%. |

Which kinda makes you wonder why we're about to sell Pakistan -229s or -129s with those F-16s. |

Pakistan is comparable to Saudia Arabia and the UAE in terms of shady regimes, SA got Eagles, UAE got blk 60 Vipers. I have seen what kind of Eagle the Saudi's got and that is quite a different bird than the USAF has.
I think that Pakistan will get Triple Uglies, with all the secretive stuff deleted.
The UAE operates both the Viper and the Mirage 2000-9, so there is a potential risk that garlic-consumers will get there hands on yankee-technology. Ooh really?, No the US has protected their technology by hedging. |
