Four F-16's flying over to pressure Hamas supporter Assad, apparently they were (unsuccessfully) engaged by Syrian AA missiles.

Sheeesh....at what point is it going to occur to people that the Israeli's don't play? Obviously this was a "if we were serious, you'd be dead" deal...wonder if he got the message?

this is the second time too, first time they blew out all his windows with a couple of boom booms from their motors. But hey "they chased them away". No sh*t, they were leaving, its not like they succeeded in anything other than showing that the IDF can come and go as they please.

Not sure if I believe they scared them off, I am betting Israel had their orders surrounding and air to air engagement.

I believe if Israel wanted to attack with their aircraft...they would have, it was just to let them know they could do just what they did (my opinion).

I am sure the so called firing at aircraft took place long aftyer the jets departed the overfly area (well after the fact).

Israel Air Force is just too damn good...to get hit by Seria (again, my opinion).

I've dealt with Israelis and I'm sure they are great soldiers and able to teach a lesson to anyone o messes with their security. Salute

They may want to attack, but where the heck is Seria? Twisted Evil

They should have at least dumped some chaff on them.

It's a way of telling him, 'we can get to you, so we can get to the terrorist you're harbouring, you'd best get them out of your country or we will do it for you. Razz

'They should have a least dumped some chaff on them' Why? Bashar Al-Assad does not deserve a ticker tape parade. 2000 pound heavy wake up calls on the heads of 'freedom warriors' is better.
