Well, I've talked to some guys with pretty good knowledge of the Raptor (USAF maintenance personnel/instructors) , and the APG-77 IS better than AWACS as far as I've been told. What exactly was meant by this, most likely in integration, the AESA factor and whatever, is unclear, but is definitely a fun fact. As for the Raptor being invisible to AWACS, I've heard that a communications relay is used to avoid non-secure transmissions that could be used to even get a GENERAL idea of the aircraft's position.
