The question about Netzs that was asked earlier lit the bulb, and I thought...wait! I have one in progress right now, duh! So I plucked it from the on-hold pile and started her back up again. This is the RoG kit, built OOB with Isradecals. Enjoy!
Also, you can follow the earlier steps, and most future steps on my other board:

I was here! Anyway I just graduated from high school and will go the military soon, so I won't be able to lurk around here as much as I'm used to. |

| I'm not sure, but I'm sure a pilot I won't be, so at least I'm hoping to get something else in the AF. |

| At least you can get around snd see the jets. But anyway, no new work done on this puppy yet. Decals are almost done, then I'll add a thin coat of flat, and start the wash. |

This might sound retarted but as seen in the picture below, it seems like you've sprayed the canopy a bit, so how'd you get that paint off? When I do my models, I use tamiya tape to cover the areas where I don't want painted, but this takes a lot of time especially on the Tomcat with it's canopy. So can anyone give me any other ways in which I can air brush my plane without using tape to cover the canopy?
Thanks in advance! |

| If you look closely, you can see strips of Tamiya tape that I use to mask the edges. The rest is filled in with MicroMask liquid masking fluid. When it dries, it's almost transparent, that why you don't see it in the pic. Once masked this way, you can paint over it as much as you like, and it doesn't do anything to the finished canopy, which has also been dipped in Future. When all my painting, decaling, weathering, and dullcoating is complete, then I pull of the mask. |
