Looking for pics of 84-1306, I was the first crewchief when it came to HahnAB from the factory. Just like a new car, she had only 15 hours flight time. A few months later my jet was pianted the squadron colors, 496TFS on the tail and and nose art was put on the left side, the state of texas with "SANDY" over the state, our squadron commander was Lt.Col."Tex" Brown and he was a sandy pilot in vietnam, A1 Skyraiders.

So if anyone as seen my jet with 496TFS I would like to see it.

I found a note at http://home.wanadoo.nl/showreports/mil/ ... irch00.htm that 84-1306 was seen at the Fairchild AFB air show in 2000 with a Luke LF tailcode, assigned to the 62nd FS.

Hahncrewchief, Your old jet, 1306 is safe and sound flying with us up here with the 158th FW in Burlington, Vermont.

What years were you at Hahn in the 496th? I was in the 313th from 1988 until we came back from GW1 and gave all of our jets to the guard. Most likely we've bumped into each other at the Dorms or up on your hot pits.

I have many pictures of your old jet in Vermont colors, but nothing with the yellow and HR. At the time, I didn't take pictures of Big D%*$ Dog jets. Send me your email address and I'll see if I can't get some of the better pictures that I have sent to you.

Thanks for the info Block 25, I was at Hahn from 84-89. Went to GW1 with Myrtle Beach , but ran in to some guys from hahn while I was there. Did you know Jeff Albanse? Spent some time with him in a bunker during a scud attack. So drop me a line at [ kandane.redden@travis.af.mil ]

Hi Block25CrewChief:
I came across your email traffic and noticed we were with the Puppies at at the same time. Which jet did you crew? Did you do the Zaragoza trips as well?

Block25CrewChief, did you make it down to Langley in 2001 with your jets to cover alert while we were changing our engines? It was nice to work on a "C" model again.

Actually I'm not sure who block25crewchief is but he's sadly mistaken. 84-1306 is stationed at Luke AFB, AZ and has been here for quite some time under my care. If you want a cool pic of it with a storm in the background let me know, Hahncrewchief.

If you have a photo of it at Luke, that would be great, we could use it as well at F-16.net. See link to what we do have on this jet 84-1306:

http://www.f-16.net/f-16_fighting_falco ... -1636.html

If you have any more information from the aircrafts jacket files to update what we have, that would also be appreciated.

chiefbozz, feel free to email that photo to me if you like and I will put it in our photo database:
lockheed_f16viper(at symbol)hotmail.com

Thanks
