Who can tell me about the serials of the Dutch Vipers that have been sold to Jordan?

Hello,
Check the <a href="f-16_aircraft_database.html">F-16 Aircraft Database</a> of this site, in the backend of <a href="f-16_serials_airforce-RJAF-num1.html">RJAF</a> you'll find the answer.

Jordan bought another six F-16BMs from the Netherlands on April 12th. Perhaps Falconniek was referring to those jets?

See: <a href="news_article2360.html">Jordan buys six more F-16s from the Netherlands</a>

is JORNAN usualy buying second hand fighters...?
i know that they are not rich but buying a used airframe only increses operating costs, and in a few years 2012 maybe they got to buy a new aircraft ..and aircrafts are not geting any cheaper.....

Jordon doesn't have alot of options. Yet, for the money secondhand Dutch and Belgain F-16 MLU's offer alot of capabilities. Especially, for the money..... Smile

especially when they are stuck in the middle of several countries that could explode under the right circumstances. I'd buy lots of top notch fighters

You have to have the money first. Jordan doesn't have vast oil reserves like Iraq, Iran, or the Saudi's. That said, those secondhand F-16's should do her well or at least in the short-term.

Recently (July 25th, 2008), the Belgian MOD announced that it has sold 16 F-16s to Jordan (12 A's and 4 B's). This is yet another adjustment to the original order (from 12 to 14 and now to 16). If anyone knows which two-seaters are to be sold besides #FB-01 and #FB-08 that info would be greatly appreciated.

Greets,
