I got selected by a fighter squadron on my first interview last December. My advice would be to try your hardest to be yourself during the interview. Don't give them any pre-thoughtout responses. From what they told me, after being selected, they see right through that and hate it. If there is any kind of social hour, try to spend some time with the guys on the board, but also don't forget about the younger guys because they express their opinion to the board members as well. The interview, for my unit, is about 70% of what they weigh their selection on. They really want to know that whoever they select fits in with them.
