Am beginning to prepare to take the AFOQT and was browsing some books on the subject. Saw the one advertised on the site got some pretty bad reviews over at [Link pending approval] Got any recommendations? I'd appreciate it, thanks |

| no reason not to prep as much as possible. Buy whatever books there are because there are not nearly enough to be "too much" |

I recommend the Arco books as well as any math word problem books and GRE/SAT study guides. Make sure you not only know how to solve the problems, but be able to put the equations together quickly. On the Arithmetic Reasoning you only have about 1 minute to answer each question. Furthermore, and this is where I made my mistake, make sure you study for the NEW AFOQT. Don't waste your time on things like the electrical maze, and data interperatation because these sections have been removed from the exam.
Good luck! |

| SAT math books are a great addition to the Arco books. In fact, the editors of the Arco books even say to get an SAT math prep book. |
