| Yes the FB-22 would have 2 seats. Although, as of now, (or atleast to my knowledge) the FB-22 is just an idea. The dimensions of the FB-22 are purposed to be different from the F-22A, thus making it a different fighter, and it may not have the same capabilities that the F-22A would have. I would suspect that it wont make it off the drawing board for some time, if ever. At least not until the F-22 has been in combat, and the air force wants it to be better suited for bombing missions and is willing to pay for the fighter. As far as cost goes and knowing all the debate the F-22A program has created I wouldnt count on it. Again, I know very little about the concept, and i don't want to turn this into an FB-22 thread, as there already is one. |

| There is absolutely no need for a back seater. Vipers do the exact same thing as mud hens with half the crew. Not to mention the fact the raptor is far more advanced and automated and would have even less need for a trunk monkey. |
