Waiting for polish f-16`s Advanced Block 52 delivery I have designed few markings proposal for 3 ELT (Eskadra Lotnictwa Taktycznego - Tactical Aviation Squadron).
The mark for 3elt is black raven.
Concepts based on photo of the USAFE F-16 block 50 AV base, Italy.
Do you know who design all markings for export F-16's , and where planes are geting national markings? |

| The countries themselves pick the markings according to their standards, and most of them are applied here in the US. |

Houston,
Would it be possible to provide us the Polish F-16 swirl. You have it posted on the site. The best way to do that is to upload it in the patches gallery.

I wish I can , but it is only a photoshop montage (low-rez) based on other nation`s swril.
Otherway, I could try to find out the owner (it is not me) of this photo:
http://www.3elt.com/upload/cinek12.jpg
It was taken on Arishow, Radom, Poland, 2002, and I think I was only limited edition for marketing use during LM campaign. |

Not to nit-pick, but that must be a Block 50 Viper, as it has a GE engine/nozzle.....
Cool concept, would be even cooler if it had those neat black, carbon fiber turkey feathers! |

sorry guys, that looks pretty much a PW nozzle to me in the drawing. In any case, the Poland is having the Block 52+.
cheers,
[EDIT] My apologies, didn't realize the comment was meant for the photo, not the drawing. |

Look again, The external nozzle segments "Turkey Feather" on a GE are metal and curved. On a PW-229 they are carbon-fiber and straight.
Note the photos.
If the Block ends with a 0 it is a GE, a 2 is PW, the "plus" just means extra bells and wistles installed but not enough to be a block 62, which has entirely new subsystems. |
