I didn't see any thread covering this, sos here's a new one. My first time here...and damn glad I found the site. I was a CC too, 90-95.

Anyhow, I can't remember the gallon capacity of fuel on the F-16C/D, with and without the externals. Rolling Eyes

I would appreciate anyone's help.

Thanks in advance.

I think this was covered in another thread, try searching the forum on fuel tank or capacity etc.

7000 is right for internal slick, 8900 w/centerline, 11900 on average for 2 370's and 14000 is right on for all 3, now on the D model 2 370's gives you a total of 10900 on average.

The guy was asking gallons not pounds. How can 7000 for a slick jet go to 8900 with a 300 gallon c/l bag? We used to bet drinks on who could come closest to the fuel load it took to fill our jets on the turn. My D used to pull around 900 to a 1100 gallons depending on config, one bag or two mission flown etc.

Divide the pounds by 6.9 and there is your gallon count.

Each jet is its own.... The floats are all at a different angle. Heck I bent a few and made a few jets take a couple more hundred pounds!
