WTLW!!!
But it's still a way cool auction. I'd make it my home! Imagine all the models I could display on it! |

And you could land a Cessna on it without a tailhook. And with it turning 30knots under full steam take off too.

Wow; imagine fantastic holidays: your friends can directly land on your yacht and come to the party! It'd make John Travolta's house a joke! |

Well, I have.... There is one aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum! (along with an A-12, F-84, and many other non-Navy aircraft. They also just got a Concord, but that is on a barge. The F-16 used to hang in the cafeteria in the back of the hanger deck, but they put her back on her wheels a while ago. I guess people got tired of engine oils in their salads...)

Why bother with an F-16? You can always get a C-130 or a C-2... unless the deck is too short But the point is that you manage to get more people, a lot faster and party can get started a lot faster. |

I've seen the F-16 on the Intrepid, it's an F-16A. I might go back there sometime this week to see if I can buy some model kits in their store. I usually get in for free since I was in JROTC, but now that I'm not I think I have to pay. What I really wanted to see was, I guess, an active duty carrier with an active duty F-16. Picky aren't I?
How bout a C-17 on a carrier then? Too wide of a wingspan? LOL. I saw a fake pic of that around the internet once. The AirForce website had to clear it up and show it wasn't fake. They also had a UH-60 pic with a shark trying to eat the guy on the rope. That was pretty good too, but fake. |

Along with the landing gear and all the other parts that fall off when the pilot learns the hard way his plane cant take that kind of stress at landing.

It might look like this after falling out of the sky onto the deck to not fall into the sea
