| It would have to suck to be that warthog pilot flying behind that Raptor. Exhaust would be flying right at you and it would get HOT. I can't imagine it would be a comfortable ride with all the turbulence planes kick up. Maybe I'm just nuts, but it doesn't seem like a fun time. Oh well, those are awesome pictures. All those plane so pretty. So has the Raptor just been doing flyovers at airshows or actual tricks and cool stuff? I know my dad has seen some on base flying around and he said they sounded really different from other jets. Can anyone confirm or deny this? |

ACC doesn't have a dedicated website for the F-15E Demo Team... Yet, it is in the works.
Here the Seymour Johnson F-15E Demo Team website:

It's nice to see that their Team Chief, Master Sgt. Jeffrey E. Kedzierski, is an ex-Viper maintainer (at Eglin, Torrejon, Hill and Aviano) before he went over to the dark (grey) side...
It'll be nice to see the 'B'Eagle Team out on the road this year!

Hey Lord, it's not like the A-10 is directly behind the Raptor, the A-10 is down at lower altitude. The jet exhaust certainly would create a problem for the engines. Remember Top Gun, I don't know if you were serious or not but there it is. |

Ya gotta love 2D frames and trying to interpolate 3D positions. Trust me I know about exhaust intake problems (I'm actually dealing with it right now, I'm slacking off from homework to write this). So yeah, I just love completely misinterpreting photos. Don't worry, not very serious. |

I was hoping someone would see that I cited nothing but the most accurate depiction of naval aviation. |

The E demo looked like a combo between the 15C and the A-10's when they went demo crazy at Langley a few weeks ago. That was a tough day sitting alert watching the 16/15C/15E/A-10 demos from the ramp I can't wait to see a 22 demo, they have been getting a little spicy in the pattern. We've seen the PW-F119's in burner a few times, it honestly gives me goosebumps. |

The "E" Demo is flown with the conformals... it WILL be missing the LANTIRN & FLIR & all the rails, so they can push up the G Meter past 8.5.
(Always hearing the CC bitch about the Targeting Pod getting "Over-G'd!")
The routine is flown with Pilot & WSO like the Super Hornet Demo, it will be pretty similar to the -15C Demo, which is why you don't see the Eagle & Mud Hen teams at the same show.
Out. |

Supposedly, the Raptor demo is going to be very good, at least in par with the "Super" Hornet demo because, after all, we don't want to be outdone by the Navy, right!?! (had to throw that one in there ).
But, just keep in mind while you eventually see it in 2007 (or at least still scheduled to), they're still holding it WAAAY back. |
