How would the F-16M3 compare to the T-37B Tweet, which is the armed version I think, and the armed version of the mighty Fouga Magister?
Would they(T-37, FM) stand any chance against the Falcon, if the pilots were extremely routinized fighter jockeys?
This is just a hypothetic question of course, as such a fight would never occur... |

The armed version of the Tweety Bird is the A-37 Dragonfly.
Other than that, you must be kidding.. The armed version of the Fouga couldn't carry more than a few unguided air-to-ground rockets and bombs. Same goes for the A-37, plus 4 (?) Sidewinders.
And btw, what's F-16M3? |

If this is the scenario: Newly educated jock in the falcon and 3000h vets in the sub sonics.
The F-16M3 is the newest upgrade of the Norwegian F-16A/B block 10-15 jets. But lets say any version of the F-16.
In clouds, maybe? |

Hey, in WWII P-51s shot down Me-262s. Just wait till they're out of gas and have to land... Of course AWACS or a Patriot battery might have something to say about you "spawn camping" the Vipers.
In defence of the Dragonfly, it could haul some impressive bombloads for such a little jet. But dogfighting? Prolly not so much. |

But 3000 hours of experience is a lot compared to 200.
This could actually happened if one of those 3rd world countries decides to mess with the west... Just kidding. But some air force still has the A-37 dragonfly I think. |

| The problem with a 3rd world country's veteran pilots messing with "the West"'s nuggets is that it's not about the fighters. It's about the force multipliers, the tankers, AWACS, satellite intelligence, etc, etc. that can be brought to bear that really makes the difference. |
