Diploma is most preferred, especially since the airforce is the "techy" branch. I'm a Jarhead, got an 80 on the ASVAB, graduated in the top 25% of my high school class and the AF didn't even call me to see if I would like to enlist. The other 3 branches just wouldn't leave me alone.

Viperman26 is correct, you need a bachelors degree to be an officer in the USAF and that requires that you graduate high school with a diploma or GED. Since the pilot selction process is so competitive these days thay are only gonna take the top performers which means a diploma...good luck
