I used to be an avionics tech for VF-103 on F-14 Bravos back in the Gulf War.

TomcatGuy,
Welcome aboard ! I'm originally from San Diego and I will surely miss the Tomcat . I'll probably have some questions for you in the near future, but it's late now and I have to be up really early. Have fun and I'll see ya around the boards ! |

How exactly could one make a nuclear weapon from an F-14 and employ it from an F-16? Please be specific.....
I could speculate, but lord knows I might get close....I have a pretty good imagination! |

It looks to be from a British Tornado.
Most likely an LGB of some type.
The streak you see at the bottom during impact is probably just a "shadow" from the explosion generated by the camera.
By the track, I think the aircraft itself was just designating, and another aircraft probably dropped the ordnance. Just my opinion [Link pending approval]
There's only one airborne laser that I know of, and it's for taking out missiles, not ground targets.

Hey I checked your site, good stang vid. I've owned 3 myself. Got an '89 lx hatchback right now. One day it'll have a 302 in it ;/
Peep these stang sites if you have a chance
www.svtsnake.com mostly a newer 4.6 stang site for the 03-04 cobras. I stop by to cause some trouble from time to time.
and
www.duggerracing.com
Lots of good guys here, smaller site, but we all hang out from time to time. All years are here
