I have utmost confidence in the art and colors....its just we have a lot on the plate right now, and need to get some stuff pushed out the door to generate some $$$. No bucks, no Buck Rogers, LOL!
Hey Mike, BTW, I need the info on your Misawa jet. Just recieved a bunch of early 90s Misawa stuff, which is nice since it fills in holes in the 13th and 14th that I have been unable to fill otherwise with current stuff, and the more I think about it, the more I like the Old School/New School theme. 1 set of early stencils. |

Rog, ping me, or have Mike ping me for info.
Basically, there were the block 30's with the NSI intake most in the original 3 tone scheme. Later block 30D's (MCID Intake) had the 2 tone gray, 14th only.
I have some pics from back in the day. I can scan them.

Hey Marko,
Aside from being kinda tough to use, the Astra sheet has the eagle head in gray....they make thepoint of saying that there is conjecture about it, and they went with gray on purpose, but that thing is white....or at least a MUCH lighter gray than they have it. If you get to Belgrade ever, go look at it in person at the museum, and tell me if it's gray or white.
Glad to have you!
1/32 I'm not entirely sure about.....but for sure this sheet would be one we'd look at scaling up. |

Hello Scott!
I am after 'perfection' in 1/32 scale, as in this big scale evertything is visible. I have been in Belgrade aviation museum and saw the vertical tail of 88-0550. The eagle head is pure white, no doubt about it, as this close-up photo clearly show it:

I like nice feather details and shading of the gray nose and eye detail.
With best regards,
Marko |

Hi!
Do you possibly have or can get any photo that would show mission markings on 88-550?
With best regards,
Marko |

That one I sent you is the best I know of as far as mission marks goes. I know exactly what they look like, and you can count what's there on the side.
I will thank, swamp with sheets, give first born to, crawl on my hands and knees over glass if somebody would just physically go find balls 9, 413, and 2137 and write the crews down, LOL! Some poor guy from the 510th showed here, and I immediately jumped on him....I think I scared him |

Hi Scott!
I was writting to tokenblkguy1785, seeing where he's writting from.
What about this info on mission markings and inscription on the plane:
http://www.f-16.net/f-16_fighting_falco ... -2787.html
The 'take-off hold' photo show green marking under canopy, is that mission markings? |

Well, the takeoff pic has this to say:
Quote:
Marked: '555 FS' and wore 5 mission markings for Operation Allied Force. Name was applied in June 1997.

I am happy to see more and more people interested in this topic )
My question is this: where was that name ('Province of Udine'?) applied?
The fact is, that there was no writting on the canopy on the last flight. Was it practice to put writting on the inside of the NLG doors? |

| Most likely. That's the place I've seen titles like that being placed. I've also seen them on the belly strakes in the rear. |

I have y'alls D done, but I'd love one from the dimes....178 or triple 7 would be great...both would be fantastic.
Those jets crews are all I need for them.
Marko, they usually put names on the NLG door, but after the 117 was shot down with a full set of crew names visible, and that went out on TV before the AF could get the proper notifications made, the crews were scrubbed off everything flying over enemy territory. The crest for Province of Udine was on the L side intake. |
