What airframe pics do ya want posted? I have done 'em all (except the YF-23, JSF and anything that was made in the Former USSR) Crazy Pilot

BTW: How is Hill these days? I was stationed there back in 94 shortly before re-training into the boom field. Gotta love that Fry Sauce!!

BTW: Here are more from Nellis a few weeks ago. Great flying there! It was also watching cool watching the Thunderbirds get the new team members up to speed for '06.

Definatly some great Raptor pics! Don't suppose you've any 'high res' verstions of these you'd be willing to email? About other aircraft- got any B1/2, or 117's? Or Navy, if you have the drogue capability? Don't see many pics of those floating around.

Hehe, as for Hill; Lets just say I'm not impressed with the way this wing does things, or how they treat their people. My father in law was here in the mid 70's, and he went to his supervision demanding orders or he'd seperate- I really wish we could still do that! I am working on cross training, and boom operator is on my list, so maybe this place is lucky for getting that job Wink

I will see whai I can dig up. We are hurting for boom operators, don't let the schools scare ya off. The extra money (flight pay) is worth it in the end. If you have any questions about the job just drop me a line here or you can find me on the af.mil global.

We have a few MPRS birds around here and out on the road. IMO They suck for the boom operator as it takes a good 10 minutes of confusing checklist steps just to put them out and we have zero control of them from that point except to bring them back in after use, but that is just my opinion.

MPRS (Multi-Point Refueling Station), pronounced "Mippers" pods suck for maintenance as well. They are a pain in the butt to maintain and the experience/training to maintain them is still lacking. Parts can be an issue also...
