I've been saving up for awhile now and I figure it's time to indulge in one of those high-class customized F-16 Breitlings. It seems like USAF b-course students at Luke continually draft up lists of Viper pilots that want to order a watch, but I'd like to see what kind of interest can be drummed up in this forum. Maybe there's some ideas and tastes out there that we can combine for an order. Check out [Link pending approval] for your options.

Here's my taste:

Graphics: Standard F-16 Patch on left (replacing 9), High-Aspect Viper on right (replacing 3).

Models: Aerospace Avantage, Superocean, Colt Quartz

Face: Black, Gray, or Blue

Wrist Strap ("Bracelet")
Professional II Titanium or Steel

Max amount I'd want to spend: $2000 [Link pending approval]

If you're interested enough to buy, post a note. State your maximum cost and preferences for graphics, face color, and bracelet. We can link up outside the forum for final order lists.

Definitely interested in a order. I spoke with the Breitling rep who handles the group orders and got some information. I am also in touch with a punk at Spang that handled one of the last group orders. He has gotten a lot of interest and was maybe thinking of the ELT version or others. You can email me at home vmi93f16@[Link pending approval] for more info. I like the B-1, black face, same layout you mentioned.

OK, I'll bite...where can I see the graphics? I have no interest in buying, too much $$, but would like to see what all the fuss is about. I just can't find any graphics anywhere, Viper or otherwise.

Roscoe, i believe WeedF16 was talking about this baby below....I think it fits Weed's description exactly.

I got these pictures off ebay when some dude wanted to sell off this breitling for US$1600 some months back.Of course, the bid has ended by now. Not sure if he actually sold it to someone tho..I never checked because it hurt so much to keep looking and not able to buy it. I believe its an extremely (i mean EX-tremely) limited edition Breitling watch given to USAF fighter pilots for their years of service. (at least that's what the guy told me.) That explains why this model is not featured in the Breitling website above.

After seeing these pictures i was drooling so much that i almost bidded for it. Of course i smacked myself into reality and told myself a 19-yr-old like me can never afford such an expensive watch. But she is indeed a beauty...I tried looking for similar watches off ebay recently, but found none so far.

I would really really be interested in getting one of these...i hope in the not- too-distant future i'd be able to save up enough money to get one. For those of you who can afford it, i say go for it.

Cheers!

A fellow Viper driver has put together a custom watch order that looks awesome. See attached flier for info. Contact "nholmes11@[Link pending approval]" if interested. I ordered one!

I ordered one as well since I have seen previous orders and always wanted one. Another one like this probably won't be out for several more years. And besides, this one is by far the best looking order since each is a little different than previous orders. It's never been done before that you can choose the [Link pending approval] on the guys that put this together!

Nice..I like it almost as much as my watch (given to me by the team).

All joking aside, if my wife would not go nuts, I'd love to have that watch.

Breitling is a great watch company too...very cool but I have too many watches now...not that I am complaining Smile

Additionally, as much as I do love the looks of that watch, I wont but another one.

I already own a Breitling (see photo) that I picked up in Belgium back in 1994 and it keeps very accurate time (but I do love the face of the one you guys are considering).

Worth the cash in my opinion....

I've seen them come up on eBay every once in a while.

They only made 1000, there is another one that is the Colt which is a model below this one.

They only made 200 and were not as nice but "supposedly" only available to the maintenence folks....I'm still trying to find that one.

Where you still around when we went to Switzerland?? Some of the O's and two people that worked in PA got to go to the Breitling factory?? Fred was there!!!! I missed him
