This came from the official page of the Chilean AF (www.fach.cl)
There you see the President Ricardo Lagos at the reception ceremony.
Mr. President: what does this button?
Chilean F16 Pilot: DONT TOUCH IT!!! THAT IS THE MISSILE LAUNCH BUTTON !!!
Welcome to your new home ... |

Feña:
I have just decided to add Santiago as a stopover in my around the world trip and go to FIDAE on the 2nd of April specially to shoot photos of the Chilean F-16 and USAF F-15s and B-1BS. I will try to shoot M2000s in Peru as well.
The Puma looks great.

I hope you enjoy your time in Chile ... try to go to the coast, La Serena is great at that time of the year ... sadly I just can go to the last day of FIDAE because I will be "overseas" that week ... my kids will probably had to drag my jet-lagged bones to AMB (Arturo Merino Benitez)
When you be in Santiago go to the "Gastón & Astrid" Restaurant, It is owned by a peruvian couple (Gastón and Astrid dohhh!!! ), it was selected in 2005 as the best restaurant in the city, so you can`t say that we didnt enjoy the peruvian food

thanks for posting the photos! It was great working with the FACH pilots and maintainers. I wish them well.
