OUCHHH!!! I think a car cleaner got a touch of the Nigel Mansells! Reminds me of an electrician doing a bit of work on his boss`s car at work, a brand new Carrera 4. He got out of the car after about an hour . As he stepped out, he saw to his horror, all the leather on the £1000 drivers seat was ripped to shreds! He turned his head around and noticed the insulated screwdriver pointing out of his back pocket!!!
ARRRGGHH!!!! |

Reviving another old thread!!
Best Top Gear 'race' was Bugatti Veyron Vs Eurofighter Typhoon last year - Bugatti had to do 1 mile along runway then back before Typhoon did a mile vertical and back (both from standing start on runway) - RAF won by about 1/2 mile. Pretty awesome. |

| Trying to get a "lock"... what are they locking? The FCR? No point in designating a target that close, let alone FCR lock. Stunt... which is all it was... Not Americans and still shooting their allies... Bwah Bwah Bwah... British humor I guess. |

| Top Gear is one faked stunt after another. It's still entertaining as heck, but people who thing their bits are "real", well, I've got a bridge for sale they should look into. |

They've done a few military races in the past; the other famous ones have been:-
Sea Harrier v Car in a lap of the track.
Challenger II Tank v Range Rover Sport
Army Mobile Hunter Team v 4x4 (being shot at - live rounds)
Army Platoon v Porsche and Corvette Convertables (being shot at - blanks to see which one you would get shot most in)
Although the boat cars were the best!
