If anyone is interested in a Lockheed job there is something you need to be aware of. They have a new corporate travel policy which reduces your per diem by 50-60% after 90 days in country. They also make you have them do your taxes for you and charge you $500 for the privelege. I was all set to go on a CSIP engineering support job for the TUAF until I found out about that.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (F/W) doesn't cut the per diem, Lockheed Martin ALC (Greenville) does and it's not after 90 days, it's after 30 but only if your going to be gone more than 90 days, both companies are currently in the UAE but that is a stateside policy also. LM also don't make you have them do your taxes, they make you believe that that's the case but it's not, that may have changed by now.

I interviewed for a CSIP engineer job in Ankara and got the scoop from an LM employee who just left the program for those very reasons. I talked to the HR manager and he verified that everything I said was true. Maybe all the policies don't apply to everyone everywhere in LM but that is what they told me and when I declined the job for those reasons they didn't come back with correcting info. Also had a buddy who was working in Italy and they did the same to him and he left the company and came back home for the same reasons.
