They had the same Plywood aircraft earlier this summer here at Shaw for the Shaw AFB open house / air show. It was "flown" into Shaw in an 18 wheeler and assembled on the show ramp for the air show.

Security really has been lacking sence the end of the cold war. Beides, they've publisized the JSF's so much that they might as well let the moles sit in the drivers seat.

| At least this JSF mockup looks much more realistic than the one I saw at the '03 show. That one looked like one of those 'jet on a stick' things they put up on military bases. I'd would've believed that the one from the photos above actually flew, also! |
