The Terre Haute guardsmen returned last night (08 October). They flew more than 200 missions totalling over 400 hours.

Elements of the 181st FW and 12 F-16s of the 113th FS were deployed to Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan.

Of course they go there AFTER I get out of the unit!Turkey was nice but I would have loved to seen Japan!

If you were there after the first week or so in March you probably wouldn't have seen us flying in Turkey,the Turkish government stopped all ONW flying the day OIF started,we only did two flights after that day,one local to keep current and the flight home.Prior to that we flew nearly every day.

Funny - we flew over 300 sorties in 13 flying days with only 3 GAB's. Maybe all the F-15 IFE's and aborts distracted you? Wink
