Some say that outlining the panel lines on any models would make it cartoon like while showing the panel lines would really bring up the details and such. I've always wondered how the pros airbrush and/or paint these lines without going over to the surface. The best way I know at the moment would be to mask the area around the lines and than airbrush it, but that would require a lot of tape. Could someone explain to me another way to mark the panel lines? Thanks in advance; this site's awesome!

Yep, good tips.....i like to use the chalk pastel effect.....if it goes wrong, then at least you can wash it off and try again.

Good luck

I use the washes and inks from Citadel
they work fine too.

I've used those as well. But the only drawback is you can't wipe them off. Well you can, but not nearly as easily as Detailer.
